Paula joined Sainsbury’s in Spring 2021 as part of the Operating Board. She is responsible for all of the general merchandise brands at Sainsbury’s, including Tu, Habitat and Argos. Paula has 25 years’ experience in retail, gained at the John Lewis Partnership, which she joined as a graduate trainee before holding a variety of senior roles in product, buying and marketing. Most recently, she was Commercial Director, before becoming Managing Director of John Lewis in 2017. Paula is an Ambassador for the UK charity Smart Works, and Non-Executive Chair of CurrentBody.
