Sital Punja FRSA launched Threads London Limited in 2014 as a dressmaking workshop dedicated to producing high end occasional wear for women and children.
Sital and her highly experienced team of dressmakers, have worked with a strong portfolio of clients that include designers such as Halpern, Justine Tabak, Caroline Charles, Nicki Macfarlane, I WED, Palmer Harding, Anna Scholtz, Madderson and JW Anderson. She has production managed the making of over 2000 costumes for London 2012 Olympic Ceremonies and has also supported film productions such Disney’s Man from Uncle and Cinderella. Through her clients she has had the privilege of dressing celebrities and VIP alike from the Duchess of Cambridge to Carrie Symonds to Celeste.
As one of the founding members of the Ethical Fashion Forum her passion for ethical manufacturing is reflected throughout the business from employment to environmental policies and strongly believes in flying the flag for Made in UK.

Core to Sital’s business practice is community and ethics and she supports emerging talent from schools and universities wherever she can. In 2020, Sital managed the local volunteer scrubs making group, For The Love of Scrubs – Hillingdon Working Group during the Covid pandemic. The group delivered over 6000 units of PPE to the local healthcare teams using her workshop as the Hillingdon hub, bringing her back into working within the community at ground level for the better good.
